Prince Muqrin's Name is Pretty Cool

That's basically all I have got concerning the recent death of king Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. He was of immense age and was succeeded by his 79 years old brother, king Salman, which is also a cooler name than Abadullah.

Nothing is going to change in Saudi Arabia and the policies of the previous reign will continue as if there was no change in leadership at all. Bloggers will continue to be flogged for upsetting religious authorities. Women will continue to be denied ever basic rights, they will not be allowed to drive and they will still require a male guardian for everything in life as if they were incapable of making even the simplest decision. All ministries bar the oil will continue to stay in the hand of princes and the Al Saud family will continue to treat an entire country like it their private property.

I could also speak about the deputy crown prince is supposedly more aligned with American on policy but really things will remain the same as the have always been in the venerable kingdom of Saudi Arabia. So the only change for me is that the crown prince has an awesome name and king Muqrin sound pretty boss. All hail his magnanimous highness, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Muqrin bin Abdulaziz!
